I decided to completely change the way i photographed in these set of studio portraits. Focusing mainly on capturing feeling through the eyes of the subject in an attempt to create a connection between viewer and the subject in the photograph. This required me to spend time positioning the lights to really emphasise on the eyes making them look alive by catching reflections.
The direction the subject is looking along with expressions can change the viewers interpretation of a photograph. I have tired to maintain consistency through the three shown here. |

I like the contrast between light and dark in the second image, you have used the negative space well, and the use of lighting on the face adds character to the image.
